I bought this truck for my son when he turned 16 years old, and the first day he could drive it was when he turned 25. While the project took almost 9 years, we only worked on it in fair weather with the exception of 2 winters, and we had a delay of a 1 1/2 years while I dealt with an illness. Over 90 % of the work was completed by us and we had many trials and errors along the way. All of the truck is original except for the box, rear fenders and Tonneau cover, which were supplied by Pro's Pick. The stainless steel strips without the carriage bolts showing finish the inside off nicely. I installed mirror mylar film on the tonneau cover to get the full effect of the wood and strips when it is open. It has a 305 engine (mild Crane cam), with headers going into 3" stainless steel pipes attached to flow master mufflers, to achieve a unique sound. It has a Camaro front end and many hours were spent to lower it and customize the interior and overall appearance. The entire truck was wet sanded and compounded to finish it off. I have now moved on to restoring a '55 Chevy Nomad. Front / Side
